Webinar: Export control – to be aware of as a research and innovation organization

On January 22nd 14-15:30, Samuel Horgby, Desk Officer at ISP will give a webinar on export control. ISP is the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products and Samuel is responsible for sanctions and export control in research organisations and academia.

During the webinar, Samuel will:

• Present the European and Swedish legal framework for export control.
• Discuss the ways in which export control and international sanctions are interrelated.
• Display when to apply for an export licence from the ISP and what information the application should contain.
• Discuss challenges that are unique to research organisations.
• Give ideas about how you can work with research security, including potential red flags to be vigilant about.

After the presentation, there will time for Samuel to answer your questions on the topics.
