This webinar is a part of the QSIP's equality work and we hope that this presentation can encourage younger females to pursue a career with in Quantum Technology.
Title: How quantum computing can change the way we solve hard problems
Female Role Model: Dr. Gabriela Cimpan, Partner Manager at Quantinuum
Abstract
Quantinuum is the largest quantum computing company in the world, and leads in the development of hardware, software applications and algorithms that can help us tackle our greatest challenges. Three quarters of our 600+ people are scientists, and many of them are women who chose a career in the fast-evolving quantum computing field. This talk will give an overview about how the most advanced quantum computers will advance research across multiple domains, from cryptography to quantum algorithms for chemistry, condensed matter physics, AI/machine learning, combinatorial optimisation and more. Quantinuum Systems are the highest performing in the world according to widely accepted benchmarks. As we enter a new era, where quantum computers become widely deployed and economically impactful, the opportunities for scientists, engineers and professionals across multiple fields are accelerating – now is the time to join the quantum industry.
