IQT Nordics came to the west coast of Sweden and what a Quantum triumph it was!

With over 200 participants and numerous world-class speakers the third annual IQT Nordics, following Copenhagen (2023) and Helsinki (2024), took place at the Chalmers Conference Centre at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.

Now, we look back on a thunderous success over three intense days.

– It has been amazing to have so many distinguished speakers and attendees, from 16 different countries, at the conference, says Camilla Johansson, Director of QSIP. Taking part of the presentations and thoughtful panel discussions has been very insipring.

The conference took place May 20-22 and showed the high-speed progress made today within the growing Nordic Quantum community. Networking opportunities included a tour of the Chalmers Next Lab and the SCALINQ Lab, as a boat cruise on the Gothenburg waterways.

– IQT Nordics is a great opportunity to network and meet the right people within this exciting area. Our Swedish Quantum related business zone is growing rapidly, and this summit was further evidence of that, says Jon Wingborg, Outreach Manager of QSIP.

The theme was “Real-World Applications and Progress Enabled by Quantum Technology”, and we saw real evidence in sessions and meetings. It’s another big step towards commercializing quantum applications.

– It is obvious that the Nordic quantum community is growing and that with the development of use cases, the area is attracting an increased interest from industry, says Johan Felix, Co-Director of QSIP.
