Second stage

On November 12th, we entered the second stage of QSIP. With continued funding from Vinnova and the project partners, we will keep striving to enhance Swedish quantum innovation. In this second stage, three new project partners have joined QSIP: UU (Uppsala university) Innovation, Chalmers Nextlabs and Luleå Technical University – all of which will bring new insights and valuable competence to the platform.

Many of the activities of the first stage will continue, such as our two newsletters and we will during the early fall of 2025 organize our second annual day. Furthermore, we will organize a couple of thematic workshops during 2025, more about that later. In addition, our webinar series will continue, and we have already now two webinars booked. On December 18th (12.00-13.00), Christin Wendel from UU Innovation will give a presentation on directives and policies that researchers and companies need to be aware of when collaborating and doing business internationally, particularly related to dual-use technology. For more information and registration, please see here. On January 22nd (14.00-15.30) Samuel Horgby from the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Goods (ISP) will give a presentation about export control. The latter one, will as you can see be 30 min longer than our normal webinars to allow for more questions and a deeper discussion. More information will come later.

New for the second stage is also the possibility for companies and other organizations to join QSIP as an Associated partner. To take the next step and to improve the support to the quantum innovation system, we would be happy to work closer with your organization and this is a possibility for you/your organization to shape QSIP's activities. For more information, please read under “About QSIP – Associated Partner”

Already on November 27th (12.00-13.00), we will give an online presentation about QSIP and our plans for 2025. If you are interested in this, please read more and register here

We really look forward to continuing to develop QSIP and we hope that you would like to join us on this journey!
