SUMMARY:Workshop: Feasibility of Developing a Quantum Computer based on Swe
 dish commercial components
DESCRIPTION:Quantum computing (QC) offers transformative potential in proce
ssing of vast datasets\, performing high-dimensional simulations\, and opt
imising complex systems which would be impossible for classical computers.
This positions QC as a paradigm-shifting tool for unlocking multi-billion
dollar opportunities across industries like financial services\, global e
nergy and materials\, travel and logistics\, pharmaceuticals and medical p
 roducts\, insurance\, telecommunications\, automotive\, aerospace\, defens
ive and advanced electronics. QC’s potential economic impact across sect
ors are expected to reach $0.9-2 trillion by 2035. However\, achieving thi
s potential depends on overcoming significant technological and economic b
arriers that currently restrict QC’s broader adoption.\n\nBased on decad
es of research at Swedish world class universities and the entrepreneurial
mindset of their employees\, Sweden is in a unique position to corner a s
ubstantial portion of the QC hardware market and become a world leader in
this domain. Specifically\, Sweden is one of the few countries in the worl
d with the capability to build its own superconducting quantum computer\,
relying almost solely on companies originating from its domestic market.\n
 \nOn March 4th (9-12)\, QSIP organizes a workshop\, hosted by Con-Science\
, with the aim to gather different competencies from within Sweden to asse
ss the feasibility of a Swedish built quantum computer based on commercial
products from Swedish companies. The workshop aims to prepare a project p
lan for a feasibility study\, which may be used as a platform for a larger
project to realize a Swedish quantum computer.\n\nVenue:\n\nA Working Lab
(red glass building)\, meeting room Wonderwoman\, Sven Hultins plats 5\n\
nRegistration closed. Contact Jon Wingborg if you want to be on waiting li
 st.\n\n&nbsp\;
